Our Program
Janie Bremyer founded the Mac Advantage Tennis Club in 1995 in order to provide organized tennis instruction for the youth of McPherson. There were 60 members the first year. Now enrollment averages around 115 every summer. Janie has always loved working with children and hopes that the Mac Advantage will enrich their lives with a sport that promotes individual achievement, responsibility and life lessons. And of course, have lots of FUN!!!!

The Mac Advantage program is for youth ages 4-18. Youth from outside of McPherson are also welcome to participate. We strive to provide a high quality learning experience for youth of all ages and abilities.
The Mac Advantage offers

The Mac Advantage Camp to start the summer.

Group instruction in June and July (check the various levels under the Group Instruction Tab to register).

Private lessons that in some instances continue year round.

Tournament free play for members that includes any tournament played in McPherson including the USTA tournaments, the McPherson SkyZone 10U Circuit tournaments, and the Middle School Tournaments.
We try to keep our costs within reach but also provide scholarship opportunities. There are three separate scholarships.

CHS refinery sponsors a scholarship for members who receive free or reduced price school lunches.

The Mac Advantage Scholarship for anyone needing extra help to cover basic costs or costs of other tennis needs, no income restrictions.

The Sid and Wendy Johnson Above and Beyond Scholarship provides funding for those who wish to expand their learning to include more opportunities at camps and private instruction.
