Les Stafford - HS Lead Instructor  

Les is currently the Head Coach at Emporia State University. In the past, he has coached at WSU and Crestview Country Club. While at WSU, he was a 3 time conference coach of the year and has the most career wins as a coach at WSU. In college, Les played at ESU and is the career wins leader. He is qualified for nationals all 4 years and was inducted into the ESU Athletic Hall of Fame. He has won numerous USTA tournaments including 

5 singles & 14 Doubles titles at Kansas State Championships

Patty Huerta
Patty Huerta

Patty has been involved in the MacAdvantage club since she was 10 years old. In high school, she finished her high school tennis career as a State Doubles Champion and helped her team win the Team State Championship. She is currently on the Bethel College tennis team. During her freshman year at Bethel, she was undefeated in singles in conference play and her team finished top 4 in the conference. She will be entering her junior year next fall. She loves teaching tennis and helping the younger players. She also love giving back to the tennis community, as she wouldn't have accomplished what she had without their support.

Ayden Johnson

Ayden is entering his second year playing tennis at McPherson College. He has been involved with Mac advantage for 8 years now and is going into his 3rd year of coaching for the club. Ayden has found an amazing family in the Mac advantage tennis club, and is very excited to continue giving back to this amazing community.

Daniela Casique
Daniela Casique

Daniela started playing tennis when she was 6 years old. She played ITF tournaments reaching quarterfinals and winning multiple national tournaments in doubles and singles in Mexico. She is a freshman in Bethel College and is excited to work on this camp!! 

Keiran President
Keiran President 

President, a native of Castries, St. Lucia, was the number one ranked junior in singles and doubles in 14U and 18U nationally and represented St. Lucia in the Junior Davis Cup in El Salvador. He played at Cameron University, an NCAA Division II school in Lawton, Oklahoma and at Ottawa University. While at Cameron, he was named All-Conference honorable mention as a freshman. He was an assistant coach at William Woods, and was chosen as ITA NAIA Central Region Men's Assistant Coach of the Year in 2021.  Keiran is leading the Red Ball and PeeWee divisions of camp, leading the afternoon session of Middle School team tennis and directing our new Above & Beyond HS video camp.

Maddie Dobson
Maddie Dobson 

Maddie played for many years in the Mac Advantage program.  Her high school career finished with a 2nd place finish in doubles at the Girls 4A state tournament where she was also part of the 4A Championship Team. She is now playing for McPherson College entering her sophomore year in the fall. She enjoys working with both those newly interested or long time players to be a part of their experience where they grow their passion for the sport.

Oscar Brouwer
Oscar Brouwer

Oscar is a Junior at McPherson College and plays tennis for the school’s team. He is originally from the Netherlands and started playing tennis there when he was 6 years old. This will be his 2nd year helping with the Mac advantage camp.

Grace Dawes
Grace Dawes

Grace will be a junior next year at Bethel College. She has been playing tennis since her freshman year of high school. She placed 8th in singles in 1-2-3A her senior year of high school, and has worked at Prairie Dunes Country Club where she helped with the tennis camps there in the summer. She was also ranked #10 in the region her freshman year at Bethel in doubles. She is very excited to help with the camp this summer and get the chance to help others learn the game that she loves!

Gabe Johnson

Gabe Johnson is currently the head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach at Bethel College. He was the 2021 KCAC Men's Coach of the Year and 2022 KCAC Women's Coach of the Year. He played college tennis at Bethel from 2015-2019 and is from Abilene High School where he was a 2015 4A Singles State Finalist.

Heather Fay
Heather Fay

Heather Fay is the assistant athletic director and head boys tennis coach at Cair Paravel Latin School in Topeka, Kansas where she started the tennis program in 2023. She played four years at Bethel College and qualified with the team all four years for the NAIA national tournament. Heather currently plays USTA team tennis and coaches at Genesis Health Clubs in Topeka.

Tomas Quercia

Tomas Quercia is a recent graduate from Bethel College class of 2024. He has been a Tennis Professional at Genesis Health Clubs - Rock Rd, in Wichita. Also, he has served as an assistant women’s coach at Bethel College. Tomas is originally from Argentina where as a player he was ranked between the best 20 players in Argentina U18. In his time at Bethel, Tomas has won several 2nd and 3rd place medals at the KCAC individual tournament both in singles and doubles. Tomas will work over the summer at Genesis and is looking currently to continue his coaching and professional career by getting a Graduate Assistant position.

Tom Perrin
Tom Perrin

Tom Perrin recently completed his first season as head coach for boys and girls tennis at Plainfield South High School in suburban Chicago. Previously, he spent five years leading the boys and girls programs at Sacred Heart High School in Salina. Tom has been playing tennis since age 11. He was a 1984 state qualifier in doubles for McPherson High School. He continues to play tennis regularly, including on USTA League teams. Tom has a special interest in coaching doubles, where he is a strong proponent of aggressive net play.
